What you get
A short season is the whole argument.
There are maybe seven good months of riding here, and a chunk of those are wet. A shop that keeps your bike for two weeks over routine work has taken a real piece of your season, and the reason is almost never the work itself — it is the queue in front of it.
Open 10AM to 9PM, six days a week — the longest hours in the area. Walk-in, so your bike does not sit in a queue waiting for a booking slot. One mechanic, so nothing gets handed off, forgotten, or waits on someone else's bay. Tires, brakes, chains and inspections are routinely wait-for-it jobs. If a job genuinely cannot be finished today, you are told that up front.
